In a time where the creativity seems stagnant in the world, people have to remember what they already have, and what can be found in garage sales, antique malls, something someone let fall out on the side of the road to be forgotten. These items may just be "things" but these "things" can be repurposed into so many "needs" for people. Times are hard, money is tight, so why not combine functionality with art, and give these "things" a  purpose once again?
