DIY Lavender Goat Milk Soap Bars

Looking for a quick gift for that "sensitive" friend? Look no further! Goat milk soap base is the way to go! You can use goat milk and lye, but this is a little more dangerous for a beginner. Keep an eye out for these tutorials in future posts!

So, what is the hype about goat soap? Well, goat milk has a similar pH to human skin, so it is ideal for sensitive skin types. It won't dry out your skin and it will moisturize with a gentle cleanse.

Ok, now that we got that out of the way. Let me give you my super easy recipe to make DIY Goat Milk Soap bars.

Equipment:

Microwave
Microwave Safe Glass Bowl
Sharp Knife
Stirrer
Soap Molds

Ingredients:

Goat Soap Base
Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender Sprigs

Instructions:

Cut your easy melt soap into 1" cubes
Place into microwaveable bowl and microwave for 30 seconds
1. repeat in 10 second intervals until thoroughly melted
Place 1-2 drops in each small mold cavity or 3-4 in larger soap mold rectangle cavities
1. you can also add the drops directly to the wax - I don't because I might want to mix up the scents in other soap molds.
Add-in your lavender sprigs (the pouring of soap will mix them all in)
Pour melted soap into molds
Let molds sit in cool place for 2-3 hours

Choose a shrink wrap or zip tie bag to store your soap.
