Well, let us do the math and think about the ingredients put in a product such as Pup Peroni.
A 2 lb bag costs about $17. But what is in it? Like most pre-packaged foods for us humans, they've added fillers and ingredients we have no clue what they are.

You can get ground turkey for dirt cheap when it is on clearance. I got mine about 2 for 5$. Well guess what that is the majority of your treat right there! You could stop reading and just throw plain turkey balls in the dehydrator and you have already saved $12.
Recipe:

Ingredients:
3 TBS Bone Broth - My Recipe - > (Roasted Bone Broth (for dogs)
1/2 Cup Pumpkin Puree
Half Carrot Chopped
2 TBS Chia Seeds
1 TBS Turmeric
2 Lb Turkey
Pinch of Chopped Parsley (Italian flat leaf is TOXIC to dogs)

Instructions:
Mash all of your ingredients together by hand or with mixing spoon
Roll into 1" or less balls
Dehydrating Instructions:
Place onto clean trays
With my exact dehydrator model (https://amzn.to/4bxKk0i) I was able to achieve complete deliciousness in 7 hours at 165F.
